Ingredients
  

  • 1.1 lbs cooked lean chicken breast
  • 1 cup cooked pumpkin, mashed pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup kale chopped and steamed
  • 1/2 cup carrot chopped and steamed
  • 1 tbsp salmon oil
  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Protein: Boil or bake the chicken breast until fully cooked. Let it cool, then chop it into small, bite-sized pieces suitable for your dog's size.
  2. Cook the Pumpkin: Bake, steam, or boil the pumpkin until soft. Mash it thoroughly to prevent choking hazards.
  3. Steam the Vegetables: Lightly steam the kale and carrots until they are soft but not mushy. Chop them into small pieces for easy digestion.
  4. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, mashed pumpkin, and steamed vegetables. Ensure an even mix for a balanced distribution of nutrients.
  5. Add Supplements: Drizzle the salmon oil over the mixture for essential fatty acids. Mix in the yogurt for calcium and probiotics.
  6. Cooling: Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature before serving to avoid any risk of burning.
