Prep Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2.2 lbs chicken (bone-in, skinless)
  • 0.5 lb beef liver
  • 0.5 lb green tripe
  • 0.5 lb pumpkin (peeled and seeded)
  • 0.25 lb blueberries
  • 0.25 lb apples (seedless and coreless)
  • 4 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp kelp powder
  • 2 capsules fish oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Prepare the Meat: Coarsely grind the chicken, beef liver, and green tripe. You can ask your butcher to do this or use a meat grinder at home.
  • Prepare the Vegetables and Fruits: Chop the pumpkin into small, digestible pieces. If using frozen blueberries, thaw them. Chop the apples into small pieces.
  • Mixing: In a large bowl, combine the ground meats, pumpkin, blueberries, and apples. Stir thoroughly.
  • Adding Supplements: Sprinkle the ground flaxseed and kelp powder over the mixture. Add the fish oil and apple cider vinegar. Mix well to ensure even distribution.
  • Serving: Divide the meal into appropriate serving sizes for your Husky. This will vary based on their size, age, and activity level. Typically, Huskies should eat about 2-3% of their body weight in raw food daily.
  • Storage: Store extra portions in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze them for longer storage.
